Today, my "best friend" invited me to drink with her and a couple other friends. She told me to "just bring a few bucks for beer". When I got there, no one else had brought money, including her. They only invited me because I'm the only one with a job. FML

Today, I found out that my "friends" only invite me to their parties when they need a designated driver. Apparently I'm "not fun" because I don't drink, which "ruins the party". FML

Today, it was my friend's 18th birthday. She had invited us out drinking. I've never had alcohol before and was very excited. I got a call explaining that she had invited one too many and asked me not to come. People bragging on facebook about what a great time they were having didn't help either. FML

Today, I found out my best friend had 3 birthday parties for herself over the weekend. I wasn't invited to any of them. When I asked her why, she said I "didn't fit in" to any of the groups that were at the parties. All my other friends were invited. FML

Today, I went to a bar with my best friend, and some guys came up to us and started flirting with her and offering her a drink. I felt a bit left out and started joking that "I'm thirsty too". One guy looked at me, cringed and said, "No, I don't buy drinks for weird girls." FML

I totally agree with all the people on here who think your "friends" are a bunch of complete ******* tools, and that you shouldn't have bought any one of them a damn thing. I've had a "friend" who lied about his financial situation so I would have to pay for everything. I blew thousands on that prick, feeling sorry for him and thinking we were having fun. Then, when he broke up with his girlfriend, she told me it wasn't true. I'm still ******* sore over it. Never, ever let people use you for money. FYL, OP. Find new friends.

Those aren't friends... get new ones. And then go to the old ones and slap them in the face with wads of cash that you make at you're job, and since they don't have jobs, they can't do it back. Trust me, it's brilliant, I'm a doctor. I have a PhD in bringing the pain!
