Today, my "best friend" invited me to drink with her and a couple other friends. She told me to "just bring a few bucks for beer". When I got there, no one else had brought money, including her. They only invited me because I'm the only one with a job. FML

And that's when I buy a drink for myself and look at them and go, "Oh, I only brought enough money to spend on me. You said bring a couple bucks, I figured we were all buying our own stuff." and proceed to drink it in their faces.

You know what I would've done?? I would paid for my own beers and then walked out. If those "friends" of yours had never spoken to you afterwards, it would be a blessing in disguise. You dont deserve such bitches for friends. Those are freeloaders. There's a big difference. :)

Hah, I've got a jackoff friend who does that all the ******* time. He has a job, but he wastes money on a $1200 tv when he doesn't have cable, $12,000 car that he bought using a credit card, $60 tv stand for the useless tv, etc etc. Yet he expects us to see him as a charity case and even goes out with us then says he has no money once the bill comes. I haven't spoken to him for about six months even though he asked for $300 last week. So yeah, OP, I know how you feel. Just **** 'em and move on, you don't need this shit.
