So, unless you haven't been there for more than three months, I'm pretty sure you can start some kind of wrongful dismissal claim up. Go over his head and get some kind of severance pay / or your job back. A lot of states, provinces, etc. have labor laws that protect the employee to at least some degree.

True, but if the employer is fired because of wrongfully dismissing the OP, then they could go back to their job with a new and hopefully more civil boss who isn't into dating his mother.
