I would write about how wonderful I was and how I was more than competent lol? screw that boss!!
look on the bright side now you are well known
I say it's time to look for a new job!!!
I have no words to describe this, OP. Start looking for a new job immediately.
So can you write a truthful paper...that should help
this is alarming!
that seriously sucks dude
I don't see a problem here. I am sure 'shockingly incompetent' is an exaggeration. By getting you to write it your boss is making you think about what you did wrong with the hope you learn and don't do it again.
squash that incompetence, before it breeds

Whether this is an FML or a YDI depends strongly on whether or not you were in fact 'shockingly incompetent'.
Regardless of what the situation is, thats just an unprofessional move from ur boss.
