Today, my boss was angry at me because I had filed a complaint about him refusing to change our phone service to something more reliable. Later, a customer called him and said I had hung up on him. I got fired. I didn't hang up on the customer, the phone service just dropped the call. FML

Today, my boss threw me out of her office during a conference call for daring to correct her. The client fired the company because she subsequently got all the information on the call wrong, and plainly had no idea what was going on. From all the screaming, this is now all my fault. FML

Today, my boss yelled at me, telling me that I can't answer the phone anymore. Not because I do a bad job, but because a co-worker whined about it being her job. People call her and complain about how rude she is and then ask to talk to me. FML

Today, I had to call a coworker to the office via the store intercom. The damn thing didn't turn off properly and everyone heard me say, "I hate that asshole. Just be where your dumb ass should be." I realized my mistake a few seconds before my manager stormed in and threatened to fire me. FML

Today, while working from home, I was super drowsy after a heavy bar hangout with the boys. I took a call from a customer. Next thing I know, the call was no longer there. My boss called me to tell me they left a one-star review on our site, saying I fell asleep and snored mid-call. Yes, I was fired. FML

Today, while working at my call center, I took a phone call. The guy on the other line just yelled "FUCK YOU!" twice at the top of his lungs before hanging up on me. But of course, the phone agent is always at fault. FML

Listen here, young people, YOU MAY NEVER COMPLAIN ABOUT YOUR BOSS. If your boss is doing something really illegal or against the company rules, many places have anonymous whistle-blower hotlines. If you don't, then get an unsigned note to someone who can do something about it. Make sure you are not the only one who knows the incriminating information, or he will know it's from you. Remember my wisdom from yesterday about the guy "stealing" leftover bread? Remember how a bunch of people came and backed me up on that? This is yet another one of those BS things that goes on in the business world. How do you think the whole subprime thing worked? No one has the guts to tell about wrong and illegal things going on. You might think you are coming here for some laughs, but you might accidentally learn a thing or two about the "real world."

Lol I had the same problem kind of, my boss refuses to get a new set of cordless phones for our store, they keep dying on me when I'm in the middle of a verification for a check to cash or to fix a bug on our money transfer machine. He swears it's my fault for taking too long on the phone, it's only takes 30 seconds and them it dies. I have gotten yelled at for this like 5 times already. When it dies on him however he claims he will buy a new set of batteries, it's been 5 years n no such batteries have arrived! I feel your pain!
