You used the internet or phone to have a discussion with your BF on what was obviously a sensitive topic, or which could have even just been a stupid misunderstanding (we don't know) - and instead of trying to sort it out with him once you've both calmed down, you drive straight to your friends house to bitch about it in person, when you could have just as easily messaged or rung her? Sorry but judging by your priorities your relationship might have been doomed anyway...
