Today, my boyfriend asked me out to dinner, which we never do. While at the restaurant he gets down on his knees, looks me in the eyes, and pulls out a little box. He opens it and inside is a note that says 'We're Done.' He then leaves me at the restaurant with the bill and the $2.00 box. FML

Today, I went to a restaurant with my boyfriend. After dessert, he went to the bathroom so I quickly called the waiter over and paid the bill, thinking it was a nice gesture. When he returned, he broke up with me for "emasculating" him. FML

i mean, you said he NEVER took you out to dinner. that must have meant that you were close to breaking up with him to begin with. then he gets down on one knee, you must have ben incredulous, not caught up in the moment at all. so the minute he leaves, you should have been all 'stop him' and all that. or you're just the dumbest broad ever, and YDI. Aww, that's really horrible. I'm very sorry to hear. Hard to believe any guy would play a breakup out like that. Personally, since he was on his knee, you should have kicked him. Perfect aim. =]
