Today, my boyfriend asked me to meet his parents over Christmas. I was ecstatic. But there was one condition: I must go dressed as a girl since he hasn't worked up the nerve to come out to his parents yet. We've been dating for over a year. FML

That sucks. Tell him to man the hell up and come out. He has no right to ask you to dress up as a girl. FYL.

While, this does suck a lot, I can kind of see where he's coming from. My best friend is gay and isn't out to his mom (his mom and dad don't speak) because she wouldn't accept it. When one thing could mess up a possibly close relationship with their parents it's scary. But, you need to tell him if he wants this to last since it's obviously already serious, he needs to consider telling them. They're his parents, they SHOULD love him either way, but I understand how scary it is

I have to agree with a few commenters.. OP you've got two options. Either he mans up and you can happily go with him to the Christmas get together, or he doesn't man up and you don't go. I can't agree more with what someone said. He cant expect you to dress as someone youre not just so he can cover who he really is. Cheer up dear :)

Well, how do you look in heels? Ok, so if you did this would you have to repeat it every year? Maybe you will say you had "the operation" in order to explain? Naa, best to put your foot down and tell him to man up about being gay. hehe

No lokes about a /white Christmas/? Oh commenters, I are disappoint.

just go as a friend.. let them have a chance to know you as you before they find out your gay.. things may go smoother that way;)

this is by far the stupidest thing I've ever heard (and believe me, I've heard a lot).

You guys should rent and watch The Birdcage.
