I wasn't planning on commenting if this got published, but I decided to create an account to thank you guys for your supportive comments. I also wanted to add that I do know I'm better off, it's just difficult because we have a daughter together. Thankfully I have an amazing support system around me and I don't have to deal with this by myself

Bugger, but don't worry, you'll be recovering from heartbreak soon. :P
Why did this guy get 16 downvotes for a joke. You people are way sensitive. I mean OP situation is terrible but if you can't be at least a little lighthearted about it its sad.
what a dick
Thank god. It may not feel like it now, but there's someone way better down the road
I know it hurts when a significant other doesn't share the same feelings you have for them, OP. But in this case, this significant other is very, very, insignificant since he is not supportive of your recovery. Stay strong
You don't need someone like that. Personally, I find that kind of attitude a turn-off. IMO, there are much better ways to spend your time than going to a bar and drinking.
Why is this an FML? You're better off without him, dear. Congratulations on recovery.
