sorry for your losses. OP, i imagine that it's hard losing both your father and boyfriend in such a short length of time.
OK, since there are clearly some posters not familiar with this: There are three types of ceremonies/gatherings that take place after a death for Catholics and some other religions. They are the viewing, the funeral/burial and the wake. The viewing takes place at the funeral home before the actual funeral, where people can pay their respects to the deceased and the family (no food, no alcohol, there are chairs and the open/closed casket. The viewing may take place over multiple days. There may or may not be speeches.). The funeral is the religious ceremony at the church, followed by the burial (which is outside at the cemetery and sometimes is only attended by family). The wake is the reception after the funeral, typically at the home of a relative of the deceased. The reception usually includes food and drinks, but not always alcohol. Also, OPs boyfriend is a jerk and clearly hasn't figured out that people need comforting afterward. If you know what I mean.
I'd reevaluate your relationship.
what's a wake?

Not gonna say break it off, but this may make you want to think very hard about him.
