Reminds me of an old joke: a conversation between a first time father and another whose wife was having her fourth child. The first timer takes the other man aside and asks how soon he can have sex with his wife. The other man says, "it depends on whether she's in a public ward or a private room." OP, if your boyfriend was serious, he needs a lesson in sensitivity, consideration and appropriateness.

That's pretty inconsiderate of him. It sucks that he most likely wasn't joking about wanting head. You need to have a bit of a talk with him and see where things go from there.
