You have to control your flirting ways when you're dating. Either that, or he's overly jealous and considers you even TALKING to a guy to be a threat to him.

for all the people saying the OP flirted back, that's not necessarily true; i have the same problem - my bf is super jealous and even has nightmares about me leaving him for certain guy friends of mine, even tho they're just friends! after reading this, i'm so scared this will happen to me, because I could totally see my bf doing this...but yea, I don't flirt with any of my guy friends, but they flirt with me sometimes and my bf gets hella jealous...he even like growled at one of my guy friends for hugging me and glares at guys on the street who look at me...the OP's bf was just prolly the rly jealous type and couldn't take the pain he felt every time she was flirted with (even if it wasn't rational, i'm sure it still hurt him to see her flirted with). so yea, the OP didn't have to be flirting back, sometimes guys will just flirt no matter what

i agree wth ur bf cause yea its nice if u look good but women open themselves up to too much attention i no cause my gf was a knock out and my friend made a move while i was dating her and she thought i was jealous so she broke wth me.
