I've dated many guys like this, one of which abandoned me out of nowhere and never spoke to me again as a way of breaking up. Men like this are childish and cruel, and love the idea of hurting somebody they supposedly love. In my opinion, actions like these aren't normal and there's got to be something wrong up there to enjoy these actions they play out. But believe me when I say that you ARE better off. And you WILL be okay. One day you'll find somebody who respects you, while he will continue his string of games and inevitably end up alone. Sending hugs from the UK, OP.

Good, kind hearted people get targeted by evil, callus fuckwads and we think they're different at first but they show they're true colors later. 55, I've been there. I understand how it seems like you somehow dated the same jerk over and over but with a different face. Every guy until the one I have now has been an abandoning SOB.
