I'm wondering how old OP's boyfriend is...I hope they're not both in their teens. Thank God OP is one teen out there who doesn't want to have a kid. However, if the boyfriend is significantly older, I'm concerned about why he wants to have a baby with a 17-year-old. That's disturbing...

That might be for the best... 17 is too young to have a kid. It's not the Middle Ages where people got married at 13 and died at 40.
