Today, my boyfriend of seven months and I were looking at some pictures on his iPad. I saw a picture of a kid of about two years old that looked a little like him. I jokingly said, "What, is that your son?" Imagine my surprise when he said that it was. FML

Today, my 11-year-old son and I were going through some old photos. He saw one of me when I was 22 on a beach, wearing a bikini. He said "Wow! Who's that?" Quite proudly I said it was me. He looked at me and said "What happened?" FML

There is NO circumstance that justify his deception for that long. your name "confusedbutloved" suggests to me that you are somehow so weak or desperate that you're going to end up being the victim of this guys BS for a long time. hope your insurance covers all the counselling you'll be needing.

Are you upset because he has a kid or because he didn't tell you in seven months? Because the son was born before you guys got together so he didn't do wrong by you. He probably should have told you that he had a son, although I can understand not introducing you to him if your boyfriend wants to make sure it's serious before you two meet.
