Honestly...men are such wussies sometimes x) Joking (sorta), but really, what kind of boyfriend do you have if he can't handle something that's part of being a woman (a sucky part I agree) and brings you home just because he doesn't want to have sex with you during your time of month....

If you use tampons, you can plan it out. Take it out an hour or two before you normally do and it gives you a small window of opportunity where, for the most part, its not bloody. Or hop in a shower. Or date a man that isn't a douchebag, that should probably be your first step. And for the getting pregnant thing, yes you CAN get pregnant while bleeding, but the chances are much smaller. The more regular a period is, the better able you are to time out when you're fertile, and when you're not. This isn't a safe method of birth control though, by any means. My boyfriend gets pretty bummed out when I tell him I'm not in the mood, but I just slap him if he's a douche about it. Sex isn't everything, and anyone who is going to be a jerk about not getting it doesn't DESERVE to get it.
