Today, my boyfriend punched a hole in a door. This is on top of the broken handle, cracked sink top, dented fridge, and other holes in the wall he has also made. We are 4 months into our year lease. I don't think we are getting our $720 deposit back. FML

Today, I confronted my boyfriend about him and his female friend’s friendship making me uncomfortable. He responded by throwing the mother of all fits and punching a hole in the wall. He said I have to pay for the repair, because I "made him do it." FML

Today, my dad decided to get his friend to help move our old sofas to save money. Its leg got stuck in the doorway, scratched the entire hallway wall, punched a big hole in it and the other leg made a big dent in our front door. We live in an apartment complex and now have to to pay for everything to be fixed. FML

I think you have more serious things to worry about than getting back a $720 deposit. You have an extremely violent boyfriend that can't control his anger. I'd be more concerned about that.

Then get rid of him! Jeez! If you choose to live with him you gotta take some responsibility for his actions... and the responsible action here is to get him the **** out of your life before you have to pay for him breaking anything else... or before he starts getting worse! I assume you've tried talking to him, and finding some other solution. If not, then you're being even more irresponsible. SORT IT OUT!
