Today, my boyfriend tickled me. In between laughs, I warned him that I was going to pee myself. He didn't believe me. After I actually did, he suggested we use a "safety word" from now on so that he will know when I'm being serious. FML

I think 'I'm going to pee' is a pretty good safety word. or you know, 'stop'

I ******* hate when guys do that. You shouldn't have to have a "safety" word. When I say to stop tickling me, STOP ******* TICKLING ME. I know I'm laughing, that does not mean I'm enjoying it, it's an involuntary reflex you ass-munch. FYL...

That's a good idea. Communication is important.

Yikes, that sucks. Just be glad you're not like a close friend of mine. When she was really little she had constant nightmares about being tickled until she suffocated. Now if someone so much as threatens to tickle her, she gets upset. :(

A safety word? Doesn't "I've gotta pee" mean just that? Is he gonna make you come up with safety words for other everyday things, too?

It's so cute when girls pee themselves!

Even if he's particularly dense, you would think he'd no you mean business after getting peed on once. My boyfriend learned after the first time :-/

"Keep on going" should be the safety phrase.

What, safe words are important in any situation where "no" or "stop" don't always mean "no" and "stop". The squirming, wriggling, and causing you to say "no" are the reason people like me (and presumably your boyfriend) tickle in the first place. That's why I make sure I establish a safe word with any partner first. It might seem like silly overkill, until one of you urinates on the other one.
