Hahahaha **** funerals!!! They're a buzz kill
I'm the kind of person who can't handle funerals, so I avoid them at all costs. Maybe your boyfriend is the same way. Not that I'm standing up for him, for such a close family member he should have gone. Talk to him about it.
In all honesty you can do better than a guy who won't support you in these situations
everybody gotta work to live. just because we works at home doesnt mean he has all the time of the world to do things he would like to or should be expected to do. you should talk to him before judging. maybe he has a very important project to deal with and can't just be with you right now but he may still care about you. try to consider other people's needs.
Based on the details from the FML, what a douche. I hope he's an ex boyfriend now.
Dump his ass
You two need to have a looong talk
some people cant handle funerals, and probably just didnt feel right going to another families funeral.
In his defense, I don't like funerals either

That's horrible of him. I'm not saying you should dump him, but this is one case where you should consider it.
or maybe he has a hard time dealing with his emotions in situations like that. could be a million reasons why he didn't go buy you'll never know until you talk with him OP.
