OP, does your boyfriend not work? From your wording it sounds like you are taking all the responsibility for his wreck. He needs to take some accountability and pay for the damages. FYL if he is allowing you to suffer a possible lose of employment and source of income for his actions.
It sounds like you don't have a leg to stand on to make an insurance claim. But you have two legs to walk or bike with to work it's just not as convenient as a car sorry for your luck
Get your own damn car and stop depending on other people, this is just an excuse!
This makes no sense. OP is complaining because s/he can't get to work in order to make money to buy a new car to use. How is that depending on other people? Maybe they can't afford to have two cars.
Public tansportation
Alternative to public transport, you could use a bicycle? Unless the distance you have to travel is too far...
Catch the bus?
you work just so to buy a new car? such mentality.
Seems to me OP, that your first problem is actually your irresponsible boyfriend.
Your boyfriend doesn't work or have the responsibility to buy another or get an appropriate loan to do so? This shouldn't all be on you.
Keywords
Insurance? If your boyfriend is driving uninsured or the car is uninsured then YDI. Otherwise there's no need to "work" to fix/get the car's money
Can a coworker or friends give you a ride?
