Hey OP, they could be recreating Romeo and Juliet. Which would you prefer? :P
He's obviously making fun of the movie. Join in the fun! If he is doing that to annoy you, he'll stop once he sees you seem to enjoy it. If he's doing that just because, eventually he'll get tired of it as well :P
So his friend is going to fall in love with your infant daughter. Great.
I'd let it slide if the shirtless one looks hot ;)
Of course, another reason to bash Twilight. There are millions of people, of all ages, who like the series, so deal with it. As for OP and her "issue," I'm wondering why her boyfriend and his friend are acting like that in the first place. Surely they didn't read the book or watch the movies, at least not willingly, so obviously they're stupidly making fun of it. But even more confusing is why a fan girl would find this annoying...unless OP isn't a fan girl, but still. I don't care why they're doing it, I'm just tired of people dissing Twilight. I'd take it over Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings any day, hands down, no competition.
If by "take it" you mean "take it out back and shoot it", then I'd agree with you. Unlike the other haters, I've actually read them. I even watched the first movie because I wanted to see if the hype was deserved. And you know what? It was terrible. ALL of it. So I have an actual reason to hate it - because it ******* sucks. Don't you dare compare this drivel to Tolkien's works. Don't you dare.
I signed up purely to endorse Doc's comment.
I have also read the books and seen the movies. I expected the worst thing ever when I read them, so I was able to enjoy it for what it was: a terrible, imbalanced, slightly psychotic and abusive teen obsession story that has no business being so popular. It cannot possibly compare to the coming of age story that is Harry Potter (and those films are infinitely better than Twilight in both effects and acting), or the imaginative masterpiece that is Lord of the Rings. Tolkien created a language... A LANGUAGE. One you can actually speak! Stephenie Meyer created touchy, sparkly, guilt ridden vampires (Anne Rice did vampire angst better) who participate in über dysfunctional relationships and run around without clothes for no reason that will be forgotten in a decade. Cannot compare to Tolkien in any way, shape, or form. /rant. Please return to your regularly scheduled programming.
i rather watch/ read Dr. Seuss than twilight without a doubt. And please leave LOTR out of this. LOTR teaches you more than how to be a submissive teen.
Why did I burst into laughter reading this!!! That's too funny... The image is stuck in my head how it went down. Sorry op, hope they stop sometime soon or get bored with it.
Lol, that's funny cuz your username is Bella
This is one story NOT better than Twilight.

Still a better love story than Twil....oh wait
Twilight is such a terrible movie. Truly. FYL OP for having to endure that in real life.
