Today, my brother "borrowed" my car and keys without asking me. He came back 4 hours later, alone and pale faced. It took half an hour of questions, interrogation, and finally threats before he admitted that my car is sitting in a ditch a few miles away, probably totaled. FML

I'm extremely protective of my car and don't trust anyone with it. I'd've given my brother hell if he did that.

that sucks. should have reported it stolen. also he fled the scene of an accident. report it to the authorities

Make him buy you a new car if he doesn't then file a police report. Don't let your brother mess up your credit or your transportation!!!

I would report him to the police. This behavior is unacceptable. Also, since it was stolen they will help you get it out of the ditch.
