Today, my brother paid the DJ $300 to ruin my wedding by playing the Imperial Death March as I walked down the aisle. FML

Shit, I'd pay money to go to a wedding where the bride marched down to that.

In my opinion, if you're not forking out the money to pay for the event, then don't mess with what the bride and groom have already set up. I'm sure OP will eventually laugh about this, but when it is your wedding day you are stressed and all you want is for the day to go as you have planned and envisioned it to go. Any little mistake can upset you. And some people like to have some traditional elements. My husband and I walked in to traditional songs, even though we aren't traditional people and the rest of our wedding wasn't conventional(we were married on Halloween and we wanted everyone to feel relaxed and comfortable and to have fun). We just wanted to throw a few of those things in the mix to keep our elder relatives happy. Neither of us minded it at all. Now, had someone gone behind our backs and changed things, I would have been kind of upset. To me, it's disrespectful. If it isn't your day and you're not paying for it, then mind your own business.

I'm the Star Wars fan and my wife agreed to enter the reception to Imperial March... And she's a trekkie.

I tired very hard to persuade my wife that she should walk down the aisle to Darth Vader's theme butsadly she didn't buy it. It's an ace idea but rather a mean trick! FYL
