Today, my dad forgot I was on the back of his motorbike. He did a wheelie and I fell off. FML
I agree, your life sucks 45 520
You deserved it 3 822

Katthebamf tells us more.

I'm fine we were going around 25mph down a quiet road. I always wear my protective gear so no scrapes just a sore back. Yeah he did forget as I'm quite agile and move well with the bike. When he noticed he stopped and helped me back onto the back to get me home. He's been very apologetic ever since but I take it in good jest as we have a really good relationship. :) thank you for your concern though

how did he forget that? fyl OP, sounds like your dad should pay more attention to his surroundings

ah that's terrible. I hope you're okay!

i'm happy for you, and I can't see why somebody would YDI this FML?!

I'm guessing because people think that I should have been holding on haha

there is an achievement, people may be going for that.

Am I the only one who thinks he didn't forget?

Why didn't you hold on to him? Are you at least okay and did he stop to check on you?

I ride motorbikes myself so I'm pretty confident with my balance besides we were only going 25mph. I'm fine and yeah he did

wow...it brought back my childhood memory

That sucks! I think I'd of made a call to someone to bring you home though! Glad you're OK. Were you not doing the bear hug? I think I would grabbed real tight and everybody would have gone down! Cruising at 25 and chilling, enjoying the ride the, I can definitely see not having the time to react and grab onto him. Definitely let us know when the vid is posted! I'm sure your arms were flailing trying to grab on to him, be cool see how close you were to saving it. Of course this is all because you're OK!

Nobody filmed it I'm afraid but yeah arms and legs everywhere! I'd been pestering my dad to buy me a new helmet for a while now but now he has to haha! Picked a really nice shoei out with custom paint job. Nah the beat grab ain't for me unless were doing like 70+ it makes a change though because I'm usually riding my own motorbike instead of being on his lol.

that awkward moment when your dad has more swag than you do

As a confident motorbike rider and pillion speeds of 25mph don't scare me and there's little need to hold on. I was not expecting him to do it. I'm not a dummy, just caught unaware.
