Today, my dad told me he was planning to have his steady girlfriend over for dinner. He's only had a few relationships since he and my mom split up when I was very young, so I was excited to meet the woman. He then told me that I knew her already. My dad is dating my aunt on my mothers side. FML

Today, I just found out my dad got remarried a year ago. The woman is officially living with us, I got to have lunch with her alone today. I found out she is only 22, with a 14 year old little brother. My dad's 47. I'm 17, now with a 14 year old uncle and a mom that can pass for my girlfriend. FML

Today, after dating for almost a year, I decided to introduce my parents to the man I was sure I'd fallen in love with. When dad saw him, his and my boyfriend's face completely dropped. I asked them what was wrong because I could feel the discomfort. Turns out, I'm dating my dad's drug dealer. FML

Today, my stepbrother, with whom I’ve had a normal relationship with since we were 5, announced that he’s in love with me. I rejected him, but now my stepmom who’s Catholic is blaming me for "seduction and immorality" blah blah, while my dad now thinks my brother is a pervert who needs to live somewhere else. FML

Something similar happend to me. I was dating this guy in grade 9 ages ago. His mom and my dad work together. Me and him kept it secret from our parents. My dad kept on seeing his mom, but we were oblivious to the fact that they were dating because his mom was in a 8 year relationship. So it happends his mom was cheating on her boyfriend with my dad. They are now married. And that guy is my step brother. The worst part was when i broke up with the guy he went psycho and tried to kill himself. For three years i never felt safe because he was able to come into my house at any point. Which he did ocationally holding a knife to his throat saying that if i didn't get back together with him he would kill himself. FML
