moonchic tells us more.
Sorry for commenting so late) I completely forgot about this post and then I remembered. Anyway, thank you for all of your support, I didn't think this would get published! Yes what my father did wasn't a very smart move but I tried to convince and prove to him that he was the one that trashed my room in the first place. Eventually after an hour of dispute, he realized what he did (after me having to tell him repeatedly) and he apologized.

Do you happen to live at my house? My mother is the same way.
**** that..do the same to him.
Does he have a diagnosable issue, or is he just immature? Tearing up your room for a flashlight I would expect of my teenage sister when she was 12 or 13
10 minutes you'll never get back. . sorry OP.
Parents just don't understand...
When I vote I think to myself did they stand up for them self? no? you probably deserved it then. Could they have avoided the situation or repercussion? no? I agree your live indeed sucks. In this case you deserved it because the rant about a clean room should have lasted 10 seconds when you walked into his room "looking" for something and start throwing shit.
Wow, 10 minutes of your life you'll never get back. And adults say we waste a lot of time. Smh. I remember one time last summer (2013) I was cleaning my room like a day or two before I was leaving for Cali for my 1st cousin's wedding. Just was I was finishing cleaning my ****** up closet that I haven't cleaned in like 2 years, my mom comes in, tearing apart my entire closet looking for an old, stupid blouse from like what, 2008? She found it in another room I think. And then my parents were yelling at me from downstairs asking why I was taking so long to get ready (for something else). Well, dad, it's because YOUR STUPID WIFE doesn't know to respect other people's privacy and I have to clean up her mess, as with your idiot of a dad, OP. You should probably just do the same thing to him. I honestly feel like adults have Alzheimer's when it comes to this shit.
Parents live by and entirely different set of rules and morals.
Can't chose your parents
