Today, my dads cremated remains came in the mail. This is the first time, in my entire adult life, that he has visited me at my home. FML

Wow that's so sad! I'm sorry for your loss. other people need to be more sensitive too! for those of you saying YDI maybe the problem was with the father and not the son, ever think of that?

I wasn't aware that they could mail human ashes. I had to pick up my brother's from the funeral home and sign a bunch of paperwork. 

I am the op, for some reason my name didn't show up, prly cause I hadnt signed up as member yet . . . Anyways, my dad and I didnt end on a good note, the last memory I have of him was when my grandma died this past february, I went to help with her funeral and he was hopped up on various pills and cussed me out and told me to get the eff out of hs house cause I wouldnt take him to the casino. Sadly, and stupidly enough, he died the same way Heath Ledger did. . .
