You are NOT educated in all the details of both mother and daughters life and it is certainly not your place to pretend you are.

parents can't control everything their kids do. that's insane to think they can. and u can be a great parent but still have one kid that's messed up and won't follow any rules. and having sex doesn't mean you're automatically a ****. guys that sleep around are idolized but chicks that do are slutty? double standards...

I agree with number 93 :] don't worry, i read your comment! but seriously, don't let this discourage you. sex education nowadays is awful in school. you're going to have to teach her EVERYTHING! she needs to know that you're there to support her and also talk to her about all the emotions that come along with sex. i know it sounds strange, but this really could be a blessing in disguise.

how is a 13 yr old having sex a parenting problem? kids will do whatever they want, even if u teach them whats right & wrong, and when it is the right time to do that. if "parenting" is the issue, then EVERY parent is a failure bc ALL children do things wrong.

To be perfectly honest, it is normal in today's society. Trust me I know. In my school kids have sex left and right, and we just opened the school this year and all we have are drug busts. It's not always the parent; infact, it can be the smothering parent who has done a great job raising their kid. Kids can't blame their parents unless they come from an a house of ******. Anyways, talk to your kid, eventually it will get through to her. I know if I'd had sex at that age I'd want someone I could trust and talk to without being judged. Just be a good parent... And dont beat your kid! Thats stupid advice! That kinda shit makes us even worse! However, lock her up for a few days, no phone, computer, ect. it may do her some good. Then again it could do worse....

first of all, i would make sure if she has had sex or is saying she will beat you. I would speak with her about sex and how important love is to sex. She can beat you and not have sex till she is 18, if she has not had it already. She may be trying to push your buttons as well. To see your reaction to her statement. I don't see why people are calling her a looser for being a virgin till she is 22. People who push others to have sex with peer pressure are nothing but bullies with no lives.
