Don't let her drive during the Black Friday sales.
This is funny. On the bright side, good thing she didn't run anyone over and have to pay for medical bills or worse get involuntary manslaughter. And it will teach her a lesson in driving better and paying more attention.
If it's YOUR garage sale, then no. You can't crash your own car into your own stuff and get money for it, for that way lies insurance fraud. If it's someone else's garage sale, then yes, their stuff would be covered. It's covered by the property damage (aka liability) portion of your insurance; it's obvious that you have collision coverage (which is why your vehicle's damage is covered, minus your deductible), and you can't have 1st party (collision) without 3rd party (property damage), unless the vehicle is in storage.
Have her sale her things at a garage sale to help pay for the damages. Teach her a lesson
At least be happy your daughter is okay.. It's only material damage. If you learned her how to be responible she'll know to cover the damage. It's not about teaching a lesson, everybody could have a car crash.
Luckily she didn't hit anyone must have been a crappy garage sale. If the policy doesn't cover it make her get a part time job.
Estate sales are the way to go...garage sales are more like junk...
She must have been excited for that yard sale
Anyone else notice that a GOOD percentage of these FMLs involving an easily avoidable car accident feature a woman driver? Girls need stricter driving exams. Just sayin.

If she's old enough to drive and crush a car, then she's old enough to start taking responsibility for her actions. Let her get a part-time job to at least help you pay for the personal damages.
Since when does insurance not cover that which you crash into?
