Today, my daughter managed to crash my car. It's okay though, the insurance will cover it. However, it won't cover all the items she damaged crashing into a garage sale. FML

If she's old enough to drive and crush a car, then she's old enough to start taking responsibility for her actions. Let her get a part-time job to at least help you pay for the personal damages.

Since when does insurance not cover that which you crash into?

A (probably) new, inexperienced, teenage driver crashed the car. Being female had nothing to do with it. Asshole.

When the votes come in don't cry sarcasm.

Well you are supposed to drive into the garage. I understand her confusion.

I'm sure her wallet can learn to cover it

Sorry to hear about that, OP. I wouldn't assume that your daughter was texting unless you have proof. Does she still have her permit? When my dad took me driving at first it was horrible. I'd need more details before judging the girl. If it was completely her fault, then punishment is the only choice.

If she had her permit she would have been with someone over 21. The way this FML is written, I assume she has her license and was alone.

Pay for yard sale items? A buck fifty should cover that.

I must go to more upscale garage sales; I was going to say $2.98.

Bright side-- At least you won't be responsible for that stolen flat screen TV.

I'm gonna get down voted for this but...it's no surprise that the driver is a woman.

I drive my dads car and if I did that I would never be Abel to drive his car again and I would have to pay for everything
