I've had this happen to me though I didn't know there was an intruder until the next day. I "felt" someone in the house and they ran to the bathroom to hide and I turned on the bathroom light to check but I didn't check the shower...I'm glad I didn't though. I was young. I'm glad you trusted her enough to check. She has senses...encourage them. They will help her her whole life. It's like a muscle, you've got to exercise it.
