Maybe you need to spend less time on your Xbox and more time with your dog.
Ultimate troll.
licks its balls
Then, maybe that means you need to spend more time with your dog?
Next step, introduce the controller
Try to play with your dog for a bit before you play your Xbox. Although for some furry family members, there's no such thing as enough attention. So maybe move your console to where your dog can't get it.
Sometimes, you should let him play too.
He fixes the cable ?
Count your blessings. I had a corded tabletop phone several years ago. My cat found out that stepping on the buttons made me mad/got her attention. And then she found that stepping on the BIG button REALLY got a response, and hung up on many friends! It took several moves of the phone and barricades and such before I found a place to put it that I could still plug it in but she couldn't reach. Nowadays, if ignored in the car because I AM DRIVING, she'll push the window button. I had to child-safety-lock my car windows. Be very glad it's just an Xbox :P Oh, and put it under a plastic tub when you play.....
