Technically they can't fail you for that since it's not a driving issue but a car maintenance one. I'd bring it up with supervisor or someone if I were you

Either he's a real dick, or Kenya has some stupid rules. In South Africa, you're expected to inspect your car before every trip and pull up the parking brake at every intersection.

Time to talk to a supervisor, if you didn't lose enough points to fail actual driving/parking & that (turning off the AC) was all they claimed you supposedly did wrong then you cannot be failed for that...it has NOTHING to do with safe driving...maybe you can get that instructor "failed" from their job & maybe a nice cash settlement in court as well as getting your license! :)
