Today, I was nervous as hell for my driving test. The instructor told me to drive a straight line in reverse. I forgot to put the car in reverse from drive and drove straight into a parked vehicle. Which happened to be owned by the instructor. FML

Today, I had my first driving test. The instructor turned out to be the kind of twit who made me do the full 60-minute test, only to tell me afterwards that he was failing me for the only mistake I made less than 2 minutes after the test started. Time wasting tit. FML

Today, I took my driving test. Completing the test, we returned and parked at the testing facility. As my tester was complimenting me, I leaned down to wind my window up, catching my long hair in the window. Frantically thrashing, I put the car in drive and floored it into a concrete wall. FML

I knew a tester like that.. She failed everyone for either not following traffic laws, or not listening to her directions, which were usually against traffic laws. They never fired her for it because you had to pay for the test every time you took it. So the DMV was taking in the money.

I don't think they can actually fail you for that because it has nothing to do with driving the actual vehicle. However, whether what I said can actually help you or not it up to your local laws and standards.

Jeez. I kind of bungled my parallel parking, but still managed to pass on the first shot. (The instructor was nice, and the car I was trying to park was a giant boat machine, so he took pity on me since I practiced in a tiny Corolla).

Don't take it too hard, my sister recently took her test as well and failed because someone honked at her from behind for something she never did. I've actually heard that they always fail you on your first test.... So don't worry, good luck next time. That's total bs anyway, you'll get your revenge someday.
