On the bright side, it's free. (At least here)
It's normally $60, but since the state mandated everyone take it, it's free.
Why did this get downvoted? It's not like he said anything offensive.
#19, ASDFGHJKL, USA is a real place? I'd love to see what it looks like. I heard the Illuminati and Half-Life 3 is there, too.
80- what he said was irrelevant
Next Time You take it, make a big colourful sign that says "SILENCE YOUR PHONE OR YOU WON'T LIVE TO SEE TOMORROW".
Oh god, that socks! I took the ACTs today, too. If that happened, I'd be in a jail cell right now.
If that's the rule everyone should be required to turn in their phone before the test. It's not fair for everyone to suffer because of 1 persons mistake
Either this is bullshit or your school completely ****** up administering the test. They usually wouldn't even invalidate that kid's test unless there was more evidence of cheating , and they definitely can't make you all retake it.
Aren't the teachers supposed to take phones before the test? That's what my school does.
Exactly. Why would you even have your phone with you during the test? At our school during any state required test phones are taken away and parents, are told to not text or call kids, and if possible not allow students to take their phone to school at all. There's always that one dumbass though.
I once had a class where for the examn we had to take our phone's so they could be taken away. Like...no. Stay off my phone.
They tell you to make sure you've turned everything off but no, most places do not collect phones and such. This would be because most students would refuse to turn them over out of fear that they'd be lost or stolen while in the teachers care. If they are lost or stolen, teachers tend to claim zero responsibility and say "well you shouldn't have brought it in the first place". A stupid kind of logic that implies that one could never need their emergency phone on a test day. The fact that when they collect them they tend to just rely on students to take them back from a basket at the end of the day allows too much opportunity for the phones to get mixed up or for someone to just take an extra one. There have been enough FMLs about that kind of situation that it's not worth the risk. If I had a kid I would flat out tell them not to give up their phone for any reason and I would tell the school to kiss my furry rats ass if they had a problem with that. If my kid is causing an issue with her phone, you can call me, you however may not touch that phone.

I guess he didnt ACT accordingly
Wow, that is a ridiculous rule. At least you know how to get your score dropped if you think you've done poorly
