Sounds to me she’s looking for every means to humiliate you at your own wedding. Stand your ground, no matter what anyone says. This is your wedding, you planned this. You put your blood, sweat and tears into your big day in order to make it just perfect. Let your “no!” remain no. You’ll be telling your future children of your day, so let it be a story you’d be proud to tell. Not one that leaves them thinking, Mommy is a pushover.
Well since the "giving away" part is symbolic of passing over ownership, sounds about right!! :D :D :D
maybe he is submissive and while they were married she was his master and now she's handing her slave to you giving you full control 🤔🤷♂️
Ugh, I hate people like that. Sounds like you may want to rethink the wedding if he's saying to at least consider such an asinine request from his ex-wife. Makes you wonder how close they are.
This is a day for you and your husband-to-be. His ex needs to butt out of the planning and be glad you don't rescind the invitation. If your fiance is bothered by such a statement and pressuring you to do something you don't want to or don't feel comfortable with, you might want to get gone ASAP!

Are you sure you want to marry this guy???
Nope right out of the whole three-way relationship.
