Today, my fiancée and I were selecting our wedding cake. The wedding is now off since I refused to buy her the "dream" wedding cake she wanted because it was chocolate. She called me childish and cheap. I'm highly allergic to chocolate. FML

Today, my boyfriend gave me a fancy chocolate candy and I got angry at him for forgetting that I'm allergic to chocolate and threw the candy into the garbage disposal. Turns out, he had spent a ton of money getting a chocolatier to put an engagement ring inside the candy that I just destroyed. FML

Today, I'm getting married. A few months ago, I allowed my mother in-law to take care of catering. She begged to be a part of the wedding, so I gave her the caterer's number and order info. It appears that I will not be eating at my own wedding because she decided to order food I'm allergic to. FML

Today, I decided to ask my girlfriend of 3 years to marry me. I made brownies with walnuts and put an engagement ring into the brownie I gave her. Not only did she choke on the ring, but on the way to the emergency room, I find out she is highly allergic to walnuts. FML

This is bloody ridiculous on several levels. First, of course your fiancee was a stupid bitch for breaking up with you when you didn't want to have a cake you'd be allergic to. HOWEVER; any decent baker/wedding cake decorator will be able to make you the same cake in a different flavour. So you'd be able to have caramel, fruit cake, whatever but still have it decorated the exact same way - it'd look identical from the outside. I don't know whether to lay the blame for this part on you, your fiancee or the cake decorator. Probably all of you. If the cake decorator can't do that for you, go someplace else with a picture of your dream cake and say "make this in X flavour".

wow. selfish bitch bridezilla much?? she should Atleast be respectful enough to compromise, like making the middle of the cake chocolate, or part chocolate. the wedding isnt all about her. my fiance and i have had conflicting ideas for our wedding but we discovered ways to make it work for the both of it. what a bitch she sounds like, hopefully this isnt a preview of what your marriage will be like! WOW! If this story is real while this is really sucky situation, take it as a blessing in disguise. Clearly she cares about nobody but herself and you could do way better any day.
