Tell her to shove it! Semper Fi baby! Hoorah! her film degree will get her no where if she doesn't have the heart. And so far it seems like she doesn't even have the heart to support you in your career. Keep strong and be safe you need a woman that will support you!
Machoman and cardinal: Suck a fat one. Traitors. And just so you know cardinal, there's a man named John Paul Dejoria, who was once a HOMELESS NAVY VETERAN. The man is now a billionaire. Just goes to show you, grunts can go on to do great things. Semper Fi.
Of course it happens. It's just highly unlikely. Blind squirrels find nuts every now and then too.
And again, after putting on the internet-exaggeration filter.....he's probably not a marine
As the wife of a Marine Corps Officer, you're better off without her. You'll find someone that will support your position while maintaining their own career as well, no matter the number of deployments or moves that occur. Both my husband and I have our degrees, and the Marine Corps is now paying for him to get his Masters as well. Might as well take advantage of it and leave the dumb chicks behind.
I respect you man, you're a Marine. Your fiancee probably just doesn't understand you and the sacrifices that you're making. I'm 15 and am thinking about a career in the Marines. Semper Fi!
not enough attraction
I still think joining the marines and giving your life for THIS war is stupid. I'm gonna support anyone like that.
Being in the armed forces isn't just being an Infantry man, you moron. There are jobs in the military (AKA MOS) that a guy joining the armed forces can choose. From being a Cook to an Engineer, the list of MOS's is a big one. I too am joining the Marine Corp but because my guaranteed MOS is accounting, I'm not concerned about getting shot anytime soon. In the end, people in the military serve for their country, regardless of what war they're in. Unfortunately, also means protecting the lives of ignorant, ungrateful ***** like you.

That kind of sucks until you realize that you just lost a deadbeat. Now go find yourself a real woman.
Good riddance?
