Today, my fiancée broke up with me because I "don't know what I'm doing with my future". I've done four years in the Marines and am in the process of becoming an officer. She has a film degree which she has no interest in, works at the mall, and just moved back in with her dad. FML

Hardly an FML. Sounds like she doesn't want to be a military wife and is trying to break up no matter what. Not that I blame her, if I were a chick I sure as HELL wouldn't marry a guy in the military.

#69, Considering my boyfriend is in Afghanistan right now trying to dodge bullets and during his long tour in Iraq when he was caught in an explosion, I would say pretty hard. I'll be more than happy to send him the latest video game whenever I can.

Well let's see. Considering that there's quite a few members of my family who've served in the military as well as been to war, not one of them has anything negative to say about our boys overseas right now. Hell, I've never met a serviceman from any branch at any age say one negative comment about these soldiers. Yes, a lot of them are against the war, but they support the soldiers. They know exactly what they are going through.

You ain't gonna find nothing but money grubbing ***** as long as you stay in the service you're best bet would have been to marry prior to joining up prior to even comingor wait until you are done before getting into anything serious as far as relationships go because a lot of bitches just want that military money. I'm ex Navy I avoided that bullshit and watched a lot of men wind up divorced both enlisted and officers all because they were too stupid to see what the hell was going on. If you do meet someone don't tell em what you do the job is not a prerequisite for a lasting relationship and usually not important on the first date.
