Today, my fiancée showed me her wedding plans. It will be themed on one of her video games, the best man will be dressed as an alien warlord, and the vows talk about how we'll beat the odds and be blessed by the "Goddess Kalahira". Apparently, I have no say in this. FML

I like geeky weddings, and even that is a little far-fetched for me. Maybe if it was toned down a bit so that everybody who attends isn't totally alienated [ha] it might actually be enjoyable. Try compromising and making it a Star Wars wedding. It's YOUR wedding day too, so of course you have a say in the planning.

Even though Mass Effect is my favorite game, I don't think I'd want it as a wedding theme. Maybe video games as a whole. That'd be sweet considering my boyfriend and I love video games. (:

It's your wedding, too, so you do have a say in it. And if neither of you realizes that, you'll have a lot more problems than just how to do the wedding. What else will you not have a say in after the wedding?
