Today, my friend and I decided to wear a new red lipstick. The guy I like turned around, looked at her and said, "Red is a really interesting, sexy color. Pretty bold. Not bad." and he smiled. I waited, smiling also, only for him frown and say, "Your teeth are REALLY yellow." FML

Today, I was at a party with a few of my friends. We saw a guy walking around with bright pink lipstick all over his mouth, so we made a bet to see who could match the lipstick to the girl first. I won. It was my girlfriend's. FML

Today, when I arrived at work, I was greeted by my gorgeous coworker telling me my red shirt looked awesome on me. Before I could compliment her, she added that the color was fitting perfectly with my acne. I heard a couple of giggles around me. FML

Today, I was taking a picture with my friend. Her camera can pick out a certain color and only have that color show up in the picture. She chose yellow because of the yellow on my dress. When she showed me the picture, the sash wasn't the only yellow thing; my teeth showed up, too. FML

Today, I was home alone, so for fun I put red lipstick on. A few minutes later, my doorbell rang. I managed to get it off before I got the door. I saw my neighbor, and had a long conversation with him. After which, I came inside and realized I had lipstick all over my teeth. FML

The people saying "You deserved it for not brushing your teeth!" really need to shut the hell up. Obviously they know nothing about how certain foods (and smoking) can stain teeth, and brushing stained teeth won't magically turn the pearly white overnight. You can brush and gargle until the enamel wears off, and chances are the stain will still remain. People, yellow teeth doesn't necessarily mean poor oral hygiene. Please to be doing research before running your mouths. Anyway, yeah, that guy was a douche. I bet his teeth were yellow too.

Ah well, the high contrast of red on teeth can bring out imperfections of the teeth. Also, not everyone can wear red lipstick as much as they wish they can.
