Today, my friend and I decided to wear a new red lipstick. The guy I like turned around, looked at her and said, "Red is a really interesting, sexy color. Pretty bold. Not bad." and he smiled. I waited, smiling also, only for him frown and say, "Your teeth are REALLY yellow." FML

If they really are so yellow that this guy can't hep but say that, I'm A) sorry for you and B) sorry for the people who have to look at your smile... If, on the other hand, it's not that yellow, then stop liking the guy. Easy to say, right?

#30- who says the person is even from America? That's besides the point. I believe honesty is the best policy in most cases... but where do I say the guy should've been dishonest? We all think things in our heads and sometimes we should keep them to ourselves, especially if we're unable to deliver a message with respect and tact. I just think it's rude, especially if you don't know where the person is coming from. #41- Uhmmm, I'm quite aware it's the real world. Yes, people say mean things... does it make it right though? Not really :).

Yes, #30, free speech exists so that people can make unnecessary and cruel comments to each other. Just 'cause it's true, it doesn't mean you have to say it. It's called 'control', 'thinking before you speak', and 'not acting like a 3 year old who knows how to talk but hasn't been taught proper manners yet'.
