Today, my friend set me up with a cute guy who is very germaphobic. So, I spent four hours cleaning my apartment. Two minutes into the date, I sneezed. He politely told me he wasn't feeling well and left. FML

Why do I have a feeling OP didn't cover her nose+mouth, or sneezed into her hand? Because personally, I'm not germaphobic, but if you don't sneeze into a tissue, that really disgusting. Elbow is better, but then you walk around with your elbow/shirt covered in spit and snot. FYL but I can't help but wonder.

How can someone with such a substantial germ phobia kiss, let alone have sex

you should've left the room and then sneezed.

Why are people so offended the guy has OCD at least she tried!

I feel really sorry for the guy, can you imagine how lonely he must feel because of his phobia?

Doesn't sound like the relationship would last any way. You're better off.

This experience is a lesson. A guy being cute or not isn't the most important thing.

Do you really want to date a guy that will alter your way of life for his own good?

I know it's a 'condition' and most can't help it, but I hate germaphobes. I always think that they should grow up and see that most bacteria won't kill a human. It builds your immune system.

He's a germaphobic. Where did you get OCD from?
