OK folks, here's the deal. Yes the story is real, it didnt happen today, but it happened on a road trip in december while driving through Texas. Yes, we are still friends and we laugh about that story often. Most of you are waaay to serious, its funny now and it was even more funny at the time. I really hope I never learn to be as serious as most of you. Oh yeah, and I agree that it was not the smartest idea I've ever had to reach behind me...I realized that quickly. hahah Anyway, for the haters out there who think this story is fake, feel free to ask my for my myspace which has a blog on it written in december which gives the story of the whole road trip, including that incident. 1) Your friend has a sense of humor. 2) NEVER reach for something when the cop stops you like that. Say to the cop, "Sure... um my shoes are right over there, may I get them?" And one of my friends was once stopped and he had a gun in the car. The cop asked him if he had any weapons in the car... my friend kept his hands on the steering wheel and *NODDED* to the glove compartment and said "There's a gun in there" The cop thanked him for not reaching for it. In fact I think my friend didn't even get a ticket. so yeah, don't be making sudden movements like that...
