I have to admit, laughing then saying LOL is a bit redundant. Yet, if you are just saying LOL and not laughing then I would have to refer to my trusty relationship guide, "Scrubs." I believe JD had a girlfriend who would only say "that is funny" without laughing...I'm afraid, it is such an annoying habit that even Scrubs is making fun of it. I would consider revising your laughing tactics.
