It's hard to expect to be treated like Buckingham Palace when you behave like Jersey Shore. People have started behaving in a modern way in everyday life, but still yearn for the old romantic ways in love. Not everyone can make that transition easily, nor do they all know how.

Try getting her a potted plant. Roses die so quickly that they aren't worth it. Getting a potted rose if they are her favorite. Most girls want to know that you know them well enough to know what their favorite is. I have a potted lily that my husband got me and I look at it every day and smile!

If its been a long term relationship try surprising her with something. Take her dancing, camping. Do something just the two of you to bring back a little spark. She may not have been trying to rub it in your face. Sometimes it's just nice to get flowers. I buy them from my mum every so often. She hasn't left you for the admirer so you are in a perfect situation to do something spontaneous to surprise her. As much as girls say they don't want flowers or anything expensive once in a while flowers can be cute. Try to remind her of why she fell in love with you by going back to the days when you were dating and take her out for a nice night!
