239, This is a major pet peeve of mine. The dehumanisation of women who engage in sexual activity by the men who are aware of it. Not only does it play on the stereotype of sex being a male dominated activity but it also helps to further suppress sexuality in our society. And of course makes men look like complete assholes. I've done enough projects on human trafficking (once is enough imo) that I'm one of the few people I know who doesn't get a giggle out of throwing pennies at women standing on street corners. However most stereotypes have a hint of truth to them... That's why they become stereotypes. Prostitution is a largely male-dominated industry (as are most things). Small minded people like the ones commenting and saying the poor guy needs to "grow a pair" just because he doesn't have a sky high libido are the reason so many men are considered (or become) boorish. I think they're worse now, since back a few decades people tried to maintain some sort of decorum... I've been called a prude a lot so it's not just men being pressured. It's sad....
