OP here. Just to set things straight, we'd only been dating for about 3 weeks and weren't lifelong friends before that or anything. My dog I've had for 7 years, so yeah, he won. I agree that if it had been the other way around I would have deserved it. The whole thing came up when we were sitting on the couch and I was rubbing my dog's back. Psycho chick then asked why I wasn't rubbing hers instead and asked who I cared for more and choose. "'Cause you can only have one!" Now I have none :(. Still looking for my dog.

Anyone steals my pet I'm hunting them down. I don't play around when it comes to my babies. Hope you get your dog back and press charges on her for stealing it. :(

YDI! She really was immature to take your pet and just leave, but honestly i would never choose a pet over a very close human being, such as my bf. I wouldnt put anyone in the circumstance of choosing between me and their pet(as we can live perfectly together :) ), but knowing that some animal is more important to him than i am, would make me really upset.

You're assuming they were close, or had been dating for a while. Also, I'm taking the risk of assuming you don't have a long-time pet. They become a part of you.
