I guess it all depends on what tattoo's you have
You can't be too careful these days.
Wolf Gang!
Reading all the comments. I would say it really depends on your tattoos. I personally have two, however if I saw my child dating a man or women with a tattoo of a weapon (Thor's hammer is different lol) on the wrist or spider web around elbows with spiders on it, tear drops near eyes . As well depending on the area you live in too. Then I might question, however most people shouldn't be judgmental.. Also if the daughter parents were in law enforcement I'm sure they wouldn't need pictures of them, because they should know what gang tattoos are. OP I would just bite my tongue for now, depending on how old you are and how serious you are with this girl. That all counts in how you should so that's the best advice I could give you. Good luck
People with tattoo's can be very successful, inspiring people. Give the parents a list of people who have tattoo's and earn millions of dollars every year. They just are narrowed minded maybe if you show them that there stereotype is no longer valid then they will grow to love your body mod's.
Maybe you haven't been caught.
Stereotypes! I once almost smacked a teacher for telling my kid people with tattoos were bad, I have tattoos and I have a good job and i'm a wonderful mother. They are just ignorant and quick to judge.
I completely agree! People these days automatically associate people with tattoos with gangs and drugs and stuff. I want a tattoo of a quote on my arm when I'm older :)
#104 think on it for a couple of years and if it does not change then get it. I waited two years to finally decided mine and I'm glad did. Because I made it better and love it more. So don't rush to get a tattoo just you'll be old enough. Think about it first like I said.
#119- Yeah I guess I worded that wrong, what I mean to say is it's something I've thought about and MIGHT want to consider in the future. But thanks for the advice.

'even been arrested?' you make it sound like being arrested is a normal thing.
Then you have nothing to worry about, right?
