Today, my grandmother patched up my $300, vintage, limited edition, designer jeans because she thought I'd accidentally ripped them. FML

well thats what you get for buying $300 jeans.

Maybe now you can reflect on how absurd it is to spend $300 on Jeans that are ripped, simply because they are "trendy"...

right....but they are bitching about how "****** up" their life is because their $300 jeans that were PRE-RIPPED are now "ruined" because her grandmother decided to be nice and patch them up for her. She's a spoiled brat who needs to stop whining about ridiculous crap and get some insight into what it's like to have REAL problems that actually do make one's life '****** up"

New FML: "Today, my life is inactive enough that I bitch about someone else's spending habits and then become a moral compass about how they should appreciate their elders, all the while being hypocritical because I don't know how to be civil. FML." ** Get over it, y'all. If it's rightfully YOUR money, you have the right to spend it however you see fit.

She was just being nice. And as long as it was YOUR money, and not your PARENTS, then go spend it on whatever the hell you want.

Your grandma probably thought she was doing you a favor out of the kindness of her heart. I don't blame her for not considering that you bought a pair of destroyed jeans (or that you paid $300 for destroyed jeans). She's OLD!

#92: Things could ALWAYS be worse. Following your logic, this site shouldn't exist, because hey at least all of these people have a computer so they're probably not some poor hungry African orphan with HIV. But that doesn't mean that they can't be pissed off about things or curse their life every now and then. #91 and #93: amen! this person NEVER said anything about being pissed off at their grandmother or blaming her for it. I don't know where you people keep getting that. It's just the situation s/he's angry about.

I'm also curious as to whether she paid for the jeans herself or if her mommy and daddy paid for them.

Vintage and designer are never in the same sentence. Unless they are designer jeans from like 1920 but wait designer blue jeans didn't exsist back then. If you buy 300 dollar jeans with holes in them you're stupid. I can buy a pair of 12 dollar jeans and have them look exactly like your "vintage designer" jeans with just a little work.

haha all u ppl that are callin her stupid prolly hav no money so u criticize her cuz ur jealous. jus cuz she has the money to spend $300 on jeans and u buy ur shitty jeans at walmart doesnt mean u should b bitchin bout it.

I probably have several times your net worth just on my regular bank account. I still don't go around shoving money down manholes, sticking it in dog poo, throwing it out the window or buying damaged goods for $300 with it. It's called "being able to handle money", you spoiled brat

and to all teh ppl that say "oh i can buy my $15 jeans and tear em so they look like urs," thats great for you. maybe she doesnt feel like wasting her time tearing jeans. maybe buying them already like that is easier.
